The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Admiral Ali Shamkhani, stressed that the possibility of reaching a final agreement in the Vienna negotiations will not be possible without the necessary political decisions by the Western parties, especially the United States of America.
"Despite the great progress in the negotiations, there are still important issues, no final agreement has been reached, and there is no specific time for that," noting that the only factor affecting the interaction of the Iranian people, IRNA quoted Shamkhani as saying on Twitter. His country with a group of four plus one is to secure the interests of the Iranian people.
Shamkhani added: The positive and negative reactions of the countries participating in the Vienna negotiations are taking place with the aim of ensuring all interests, and we are aware of this, noting that the priority of the Iranian negotiators is to resolve the remaining issues that are considered red lines for Iran, and reaching the agreement requires new initiatives from all parties.
The eighth round of talks in Vienna began on the 27th of last December, where the participants completed the draft text of the agreement and decided on some contentious issues.
