The Pakistani army announced today the killing of seven terrorists in a military operation in the southeastern province of Balochistan.
"The forces carried out the operation after receiving information about the presence of terrorists in the southeastern province of Balochistan and clashed with the terrorist group, which resulted in the killing of seven terrorists, including two commanders involved in shootings and attacks on security forces," Xinhua news agency quoted a statement issued by the Pakistani army as saying.
The statement added that the forces confiscated a large cache of weapons and ammunition prepared for use in terrorist activities in the province. At least six soldiers of the Pakistani forces were killed and 22 others were wounded in a suicide attack in the southwest of the country today.
