The Syrian-Russian Friendship Committee in the People’s Assembly expressed its full support for the friendly Russian people and with the Russian leadership in the special military operation in the Donbass region, based on the correctness and correctness of the Russian position and its legitimate right to self-defense against American and Western policies aimed at encircling Russia and its attempts to achieve its expansionist ambitions. And control over the resources, wealth and capabilities of peoples.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today, the committee affirmed Russia’s legitimate right to protect and defend safe civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk in the face of the Nazi practices of nationalists in Ukraine during the past years, in light of the Ukrainian government’s intransigence in not implementing the Minsk agreements and its attempt to join NATO and possess nuclear weapons to threaten Russian national security.
The committee stressed that the United States of America and its Western allies are the ones who bear full responsibility for all the devastation, destruction and blood that was wasted in Ukraine and in other parts of the world.
At the conclusion of its statement, the committee said: “We express to our friends in the Friendship Committees of the State Duma and the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation our standing with them and their support in the face of the fierce disinformation campaigns that work to besiege the media and transparent Russian sources of information and aim to distort the image of Russia’s just and just demands and inflame the Sedition and tensions, in turn, justify the ambitions of the West and America in Ukraine, as it did in many parts of the world.”
