Yair Netanyahu appeared this morning (Tuesday) in the Magistrate's Court in Kfar Saba for a hearing on a libel and sexual harassment lawsuit filed by Dana Kashdi, after failing to appear for the final hearing in his case.
As you may recall, when Di sued Netanyahu Jr. for half a million shekels, claiming that he introduced her as the mistress of blue-and-white chairman and Defense Minister Bnei Gantz.
At the hearing she testified when enough.
"At the time I was active in blue and white. One night I found out what I was doing with a man who could be my father. Older than my father," Kashdi said, explaining: "It was important for the defendant to ask who I was. He posted a screenshot of my Facebook profile, including a photo and my name. There were comments from people who understood what he wanted to do. He tried and succeeded - tying me to Gantz's sex affair."
When Dee added: "In the following post there was another picture of me with Ganz and on the picture someone imprinted a tweet, as if I was saying. I was flooded with inquiries on social media with sexual suggestions. I tried not to leave the house during this time."
Yair Netanyahu also testified at the trial, claiming: "I write hundreds of tweets a day. I saw a left-wing activist who made me laugh at her claims why Ganz should be prime minister. While Likud members argued that my father should be prime minister because of political, economic and security achievements, Mrs. Kashdi He was nice. It made me laugh so I posted a public picture of her on Facebook and wrote - 'Who is this?'

Netanyahu added: "The next day her father wrote a slanderous post, full of slander towards me. The post received a lot of shares and comments. It had comments calling for the murder of me, my father, raping me and my mother. She talks about comments? Dana when Dee went to be interviewed on every channel "TV and talked about an affair with Benny Ganz. I did not write it. It shows that she only asked for publicity."
The judge asked Netanyahu: "What did you mean by publication?"
In response he said: "Laugh at her arguments that Gantz should be prime minister because he is nice and make tea."
Judge: "Did you see the reactions to the post?", Netanyahu: "No, I post a lot of things and do not always follow the reactions. I wonder if she and her father saw the reactions against me and my family in his post. They did not remove it. About her alleged affair with "I only heard Gantz from her father's post and from her interviews on all the channels. I have not heard of it before."
Later, Netanyahu's lawyer claimed at the hearing that he was not responsible for the reactions of some of the respondents to his tweet, which attributed sexual misconduct to Ganz: "How is it possible that the respondents were not sued and only the defendant? "She intensified this incident to an enormous extent for the purpose of publicity."
The judge asked Kashdi's lawyer: "How did you reach the amount of half a million shekels?", In response he replied: "In calculating the damage and suffering, this is how the plaintiff estimates the damage caused to her."
The judge suggested the parties reach a compromise.
