A sense of community, money worries and big emotions - "Hartz and warm"* accompanies the residents of the Mannheim Benz barracks in their everyday life.
The first episodes of the social documentary were broadcast on RTLZWEI about five years ago.
Since then, viewers have been unable to imagine the program without “Hartz and heartily – day after day Benz barracks”.
The residents of the former working district are very popular and are now well-known throughout Germany.

The extended family around the father of eight, Elvis, can be seen regularly in the social documentary on RTLZWEI.
The viewers get an insight into everyday life in the "quiet corner", which is characterized by official stress and financial worries.
In the 60th episode of "Hartz und Herzen" Elvis and Katrin hope for care allowance for their ADHD children to enable them to do more leisure activities.

"Hartz and warm": Katrin applies for funds from the health insurance company - and has to fight through forms
Elvis and Katrin live with their eight children in the heart of the Benz barracks.
With the exception of daughter Vanessa*, everyone lives together under one roof - with so many people in one house, quarrels are almost inevitable.
In the 60th episode, Katrin is sitting in front of a mountain of forms.
The mother of eight wants to apply for funds for three of her children because they have ADHD.
"I applied for care allowance for Antonia, Luca and Jelena," reveals Elvis' wife in the social documentary.
To do this, she first had to pick up the phone and apply for the application from the health insurance company.
The aim is to get an opinion from a doctor to check whether your children are entitled to care allowance.

Mama Katrin first talks to the RTLZWEI camera team about the appraisers' appointments.
The barrack woman fears that the health insurance company will give her three separate appointments for the children.
This could become a problem for the extended family, since their offspring actually have to go to school and they would have to sign each child out of class individually.
Even daughter Jelena is not particularly enthusiastic about the high visit in the "quiet corner".
"If I lose a screw that day, I'll go straight to grade 5," the young people fear.

"Hartz and cordial": No care allowance for children - Elvis is pissed off at health insurance
Not good news in the Elvis household: the couple was able to contact the medical service of the health insurance company – but only by telephone.
All three children are assigned to “care level 1”.
That means: No nursing allowance for Luca, Jelena and Antonia.
Elvis cannot understand the assessment of the medical service and is pissed off: "They apparently really have no idea how bad ADHD is in the children.
It's not easy to deal with the children and keep them busy - how are we supposed to do that?" reveals Elvis in the TV show.
In his opinion, Luca, Jelena and Antonia* should be able to do sports right after school to work out - but they don't have the money for that.
The cult Barackler is angry about the decision of the health insurance company.
The couple wanted to immediately lodge an objection to the report.
Elvis feels abandoned: "It affects the whole family, the rest of the siblings and the marriage," the father of eight continues to rant.
It remains to be seen whether the application for care allowance will be granted in a second attempt.
