Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons are planning a hunger strike on March 25.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners' Authority, this option will remain in place until the rights are restored to the situation that existed before the security prisoners escaped from Gilboa Prison.
It should also be noted that the Prisoners' Authority has issued a notice suspending the steps of their struggle in light of the prison administration's withdrawal from the steps taken at the Nafha prison in the Negev.
According to the announcement, the delay does not include the cessation of preparations for an open hunger strike and does not mean the end of the struggle.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority Prisoners Authority has said that the situation in the prisons is still tense and if the prisoners decide to go on hunger strike then they are betting on outside support that will be an important and central factor in their struggle.
