"This evangelical insistence on involving God's sovereignty with Putin's evil borders on the absurd," Kennedy wrote recently.
"Believers in the Second Revelation of Jesus along with Armageddon and the War of Gog and Magog fail to understand that if they help bring about a world war, no Jesus Superman will appear who will 'snatch' all true believers into a world of peace in the clouds," Kennedy wrote.
"It's an illusion, while what Putin is doing is a deadly reality."
