With simple capabilities and a great will, Randy Al-Shaheen, a student in the third year of secondary vocational, was able to create a large sculptural work of life and talent that depicts the beauty of nature and the environment at Al-Shaheed Tawfiq Al-Attar High School in the village of Lahitha in the northern countryside of As-Suwayda.
Student Randy indicated to SANA reporter that his artistic talent began at an early age, influenced by his father, who works in the profession of installing artificial and natural stone and cladding the facades of buildings and houses. While in the seventh grade, he carried out a number of sculpting works on basalt stone using a hammer and chisel without any prior experience, then he succeeded in implementing Concrete figures of some birds and animals, in addition to paintings with a historical dimension.
Saado al-Shaheen, Randy’s father, indicated that his son experimented with sculpting on walls using cement and succeeded in carrying out several sculptural works in a visual language, in different shapes, methods, lines and beautiful colors. The width is 3 meters.
In turn, the director of Martyr Tawfiq Al-Attar High School in the village of Lahitha Khawla Al-Samman stated that Randy, in addition to his artistic talent, is a diligent student in his studies and enjoys the love of his colleagues and has the will and determination to continue his career in the field of plastic art and refine his skills, noting that the sculptural work of cement was implemented on one of the school walls in addition to To several mobile artworks and drawings on basalt presented by Randy.
