The war in Ukraine continues, and the Russian bombings are approaching the city of Levib in the west of the country.

The flow of refugees continues from the city of Levib to the Polish border and from there to Europe, and some also reach Israel.

Following the growing bombings in Lviv, the refugees are trying to leave the country as quickly as possible.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed the Israeli volunteers involved in the rescue that buses would be sent only if they had at least ten Israeli passport holders - and not just Jews.

Yesterday morning, more Jewish and Israeli refugees were brought in, including a Holocaust survivor from Kharkiv who had been in a hospital until now, and will now be transferred to Israel.

Another bus left in the direction of the Polish border.

An Israeli resident who came to help rescue the refugees, Benjamin Blonrowitz, said: "The situation is very difficult. I do not know what will happen at all, Putin is not stopping. Tonight the missiles have already reached our area."

He added: "This morning we brought a Holocaust survivor from the hospital, and now she is traveling with her whole family. A few days ago she was seriously ill. All these people want to return home, each one and his story - where a missile fell, someone else was injured, etc. ".

A week has passed since it was decided to operate a unique Knesset in response to the hundreds of missions that reached the ZAKA emergency center, which, along with the other emergency and assistance organizations, has been involved in handling complex and unique inquiries.

Among the hundreds of inquiries from Jews and Israelis in Ukraine, the center receives inquiries for special rescues of Holocaust survivors, the wounded, the sick, the elderly and infants, who seek help in escaping from their place of residence, which is in combat areas, to a place that will provide medical care.

Nachman Dickstein, deputy commander of ZAKA Ukraine, said that they work in an endless sequence, and that there is not a single moment where one can rest, because the events and referrals do not stop, and in most cases are a matter of saving lives.

"Many charities from Israel and around the world come here to help Jews rescued from Ukraine," Dickstein said.
