About 39 million voters were called to participate in the legislative elections in Colombia.
In the elections, the 108 seats in the Senate and the 172 seats in the House of Representatives will be renewed.

Seventeen candidates for these seats resigned in the departments of Cesar, Magdalena and Guajira because, according to them, there were not enough guarantees to continue with the process.
