The ten artists of the Barriota Group inaugurated their third art exhibition in Al-Sayed Gallery

Damascus, SANA- The third exhibition of the Barriota Group held artworks that celebrate beauty in a variety of styles and techniques for ten artists

The third exhibition of the Barriota Collection celebrates artworks celebrating beauty in diverse styles and techniques by ten male and female artists.

The exhibition hosted by Al-Sayed Hall included 17 artworks, including paintings and sculptures, from the latest products of the participants. According to the director and owner of the Mr. Ilham Bakir Gallery, it constitutes an opportunity for all art lovers to see new and distinctive works and an affirmation that Syria is full of creative artists and a new generation always appears that gives rise to optimism about the future of Syrian formation.

Artist Noha Jabara participated in two paintings as part of her experience with windows, with the stories they contain of meditation, monologue and mixed feelings for people who lived them. She said: "This exhibition is a continuation of our artistic project represented by the slogan (With art we create a more beautiful reality) to get out of the crises of war and beyond."

Artist Ghassan Al-Akal participated in three oil paintings on canvas from his modern experience in which he combines characters with letter combinations in an expressive style and earthy desert colors.

As for the artist, Juma’a Al-Nazhan, he presented two paintings from his new experience in an abstract expressive style, such as in one of them the Al-Hawiqa neighborhood in the city of Deir ez-Zor, which is surrounded by the Euphrates River and destroyed by terrorists. His portrait of a beautiful girl in oil on canvas entitled Sunrise after a sad night, pointing out that he always paints a portrait of a female and carries expressions from within it to be a mixture of sadness, hope and optimism for the future.

The artist, Neamat Badawi, chose to display two paintings of his recent production, in which he presented his daughter, Juri, in two different situations, between submissiveness and departure, using his experience in the restoration of icons to formulate the two paintings by drawing oil colors on wood to overcome the errors of ancient art techniques.

The participation of the sculptor Partex Barsoumi came in two works, one of them in stone, embodied a portrait of a man and a woman, and the second in bronze, like a girl. He pointed out that the gathering of artists is necessary for them and for art to achieve development and artistic and cultural dialogue, indicating that he prefers the clear realistic style for all segments of the audience without complications.

As for the sculptor Shadia Daaboul, she presented three sculptures of mixed ores of metal with real themes representing the Syrian human being in various situations between dualities and individuality.

The artist, Bashir Badawi, participated in a new painting representing the duality of a woman and a man in a realistic style, with a composition that carries a lot of drama and dancing body language through foggy and cold color climates.

The participation of the artist, Hori Selkjian, came in two realistic works that contain many diverse human cases with a set of details that gave a dramatic dimension to the two works.
