At the end of the month: Israel Today's resilience conference | Israel today

The conference will address the challenges and steps that must be taken to produce economic resilience, the cost of living and the housing crisis.


On March 30, 2022, the Israel Today newspaper will host the newspaper's Economic Socio-Resilience Conference, which will address the question of how economic-socio-occupational resilience can be improved on a national and personal level.

This is within the framework of the need to lead a national recovery from the corona crisis similar to the entire world.

The conference will address this question at the national and household levels in the country, both economically and socially.

In doing so, the conference will examine how the State of Israel copes with the burning challenges and steps to be taken to produce long-term economic resilience, how to maintain the business and economic resilience of Israeli households, how to deal with the cost of living, how the housing crisis affects our personal and national resilience. The employment resilience in the Israeli economy while integrating different communities (ultra-Orthodox, Arabs and women) in the employment market.

The conference will be opened by the incoming editor of the newspaper, Amar Lachmanovich, and will hold four main sessions: the economic resilience session, which will deal with ways to strengthen households in the country after the crisis and review the current state of the economy. This and the third session will deal with the employment resilience of the public and the fourth will deal with the construction of social resilience in Israel, including the integration of Arab society in the fabric and social fabric of life in the country.

The session will also deal with the housing crisis in Israel and other points that give resilience to our society.

At the end of the sessions there will be lunch on site.

The conference will be attended by senior public and government officials including ministers and Knesset members, academics, leading businessmen and various civic actors.

It will be performed in front of a live audience and will also be broadcast and reviewed LIVE on the "Israel Today" website and app.

Among the conference participants: Minister of Economy, Minister of Housing, Minister of Agriculture, Minister of Welfare, Minister of Social Equality, MK Moshe Gafni, Chairman of the Finance Committee, Supervisor of Banks, Yaakov Frenkel, Rami Levy and more.
