Feijóo boasts of "moderation" before Mañueco without alluding to the pact with Vox

The only candidate for the national presidency of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, in full route to present his political project for Spain, has barely alluded this Saturday to the pact with Vox that will support governance in the Junta de Castilla y León.

During his stop in Valladolid -in the first autonomy in which the party led by Santiago Abascal assumes government responsibilities- he advocated achieving "centrality" through a PP that brings together Spaniards dissatisfied with the Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez.

The leader of the Executive has been reproached for the decision to approach Morocco with a change in the national position on the Sahara conflict, something that he has called "recklessness".

Feijóo, who will put his leadership to a vote in the extraordinary congress of the PP on April 2 and 3, has not mentioned the agreement with the extreme right beyond ensuring that the "stability" mandate has been fulfilled in Castilla y Lion.

The act in Valladolid was accompanied by Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, acting president of Castilla y León and leader of the regional PP, who has given him his support.

"Dear Alberto, thank you for taking the step," said Mañueco.

The leader of the Popular Party of Castilla y León has highlighted that his government pact with Vox allows him to offer "stability and solidity to the community" and has spoken of a "wave of illusion" that he has perceived since Feijóo raised his candidacy .

The Galician baron has tried to win over the Valladolid auditorium, in which more than 1,000 attendees have gathered, with touches of humor related to his Galician origins and seeing how Mañueco has accepted his bet to do the Camino de Santiago, treatment to which the man from Salamanca He promised if he won the elections.

Núñez Feijóo has used a solemn tone, asking for respect and support from the middle and lower classes and has emerged as a defender of the productive sectors, affected by inflation or lack of supply.

“The PP without complexes has returned”, Feijóo has expressed, insisting on his years of administrative experience as a guarantee of future governability.

"I do not pretend to be a leader of oratory, but when our mandate ends, things will be better," he announced.

"Politics must regain centrality, which seeks to solve most of the problems that most citizens have", he reiterated at another point in his speech, in which he also made a request to articulate majorities around a PP such as “greatest political meeting point”.

The leader of the Xunta has defended his figure as a national candidate and has disapproved of the work of the Prime Minister.

"Many times what Pedro Sánchez does not even he knows", he has censored, and has affirmed that the reproaches to Mañueco for joining Vox are attacks against him as a future referent of the PP.

Regarding the popular crisis, Núñez Feijóo has admitted that the band has suffered in the last month "the most intense crisis it has ever experienced", but has praised the fact that just a few weeks later he is on a national tour in search of support to lead the band .
