"Democratic crisis: false quarrel, real danger"

There is something overwhelming in recalling basic truths.

If, as opinion polls say, Emmanuel Macron won on the evening of April 24, the majority of the votes cast would give him indisputable democratic legitimacy.

We can legitimately judge this campaign poor, even evaded;

to regret that, from pandemic to war, the matrix event tends, in the media and politically, to crush all other deliberations;

consider that the Head of State takes advantage of these extreme situations: it is then enough to go to the polls to put in an envelope one of the ballots - the offer is rich - which denounces this state of affairs.

Rather than nitpicking about a bad result in advance, it might be wise to throw all your strength into the battle to try to improve it.
