In terms of design, Karl-Lederer-Platz and Egerlandstraße should form a unit.
The surface behind the site fences is now being restored.

The design of the center in Geretsried continues.
The Egerlandstraße is designed.
The Building and Environment Committee recently dealt with detailed questions.
Geretsried – By the end of the year, the Egerlandstraße in the city center area should be restored.
Civil engineering work began there last week, Rainer Goldstein reported at the most recent meeting of the building and environmental committee.
It became clear that there is still a lot going on in the “New Center”.
The committee had to decide on a detailed question intended to simplify the construction process.
"It's a race for funds and supplies," said Third Mayor Gerhard Meinl, who chaired the session.
The war in Eastern Europe played a role in this.
Russian oil is used for bitumen.
And "the ordered drainage mats are currently stuck on a truck in the Ukraine," added Lukas Schrettenbrunner from the building authority.

Egerlandstraße: The design is based on that of Karl-Lederer-Platz
That is why the city wants as much work as possible to be completed in the middle of the year.
"So that we have room to move backwards," emphasized Goldstein.
For the three planned islands of green, this means that the surrounding seating area will not be installed as a complete finished part.
Instead, the substructure is to be concreted now and the superstructure to be put on later.
The three islands of green can be planted with trees up to six meters high, explained architect Klaus Kehrbaum.
They will be built along Egerlandstraße in front of the residential and commercial building BGZ2, which the Geretsried building cooperative is currently reconstructing.
One of the green islands, which is being created near the junction with Fasanenweg, is to be combined with the bus stop, including a covered waiting area made of glass.
People will be able to sit around the green islands.
Kehrbaum suggested not making the component out of concrete as planned, but out of granite.
"It turned out that we save a third of the costs and also get natural stone in return.
Quite amazing,” said the architect.
The committee had no objection.
By the way: everything from the region is also available in our regular Wolfratshausen-Geretsried newsletter.

Pawn rings in the old town of Schongau
Schongau – 14 rubbish bins in the old town of Schongau have now been equipped with so-called deposit rings.
They were installed by the building yard.

Kehrbaum also presented an idea that might appeal to those for whom the "New Center" is not green enough.
In some cities there is a kind of oversized flowerpot that can hold trees and you can sit on the edge.
"The weigh six tons and can be freely positioned by the building yard when an event is taking place," explained Kehrbaum.
He could imagine two of the large planters in front of City Hall, five to seven on Karl-Lederer-Platz and five on Egerlandstrasse.
However, the proposal was not put to the vote.
Once the design of the T-Zone is complete, construction will continue around it.
As reported, project-related development plans for the houses at Karl-Lederer-Platz 7 and 7a, Egerlandstraße 57/Hermann-Löns-Weg 2 and 4 are in progress.
The respective owners want to build new there.
The corresponding plans are now ready for disclosure, Meinl said at the most recent meeting of the Development and Planning Committee.
The committee dealt with the adjusted documents and unanimously recommended them for approval by the city council.
