The gathering of Lebanese national and progressive parties and forces and national personalities in front of the United Nations “ESCWA” building in the center of the Lebanese capital, Beirut, organized a stand of solidarity with the Russian Federation and its people in the face of US-Western policies aimed at undermining its security and stability.
The Syrian community in Lebanon, the Russian Women's Association, the Association of Alumni of the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation participated in this solidarity stand.
The participants in the vigil saluted the Russian people, their leadership and army, stressing their continued support of friends and allies in Russia in the face of the Nazi imperialist aggression behind Washington and the capitals of the colonial West.
The head of the Beirut People’s Gathering, Dr. Muhammad Itani, stressed during a speech on behalf of the organizers the solidarity with Russia, which stood with our national and national issues, especially its honorable stance in supporting Syria’s steadfastness and victories in the face of the global war of aggression and terrorism, reviewing the causes and objectives of the Russian military operation in Ukraine, noting that Russia tried to Over the course of eight years, it reached a solution with the West to no avail, which made it start a military operation to preserve its national security.
In turn, the Syrian labor leader in Lebanon, Mustafa Mansour, indicated that Russia will triumph over its enemies as Syria did, and that this West and its mercenaries will pay the price for their crimes, stressing that the sanctions weapon they will use will fail as their military and political terrorism failed.
