Police said that officers from the Kowloon City Police District Serious Crime Squad arrested a 22-year-old man surnamed Yu Local in Tuen Mun District at about 10 p.m. yesterday (March 21). He was suspected of "escape from lawful custody" and is being detained survey.
A 22-year-old man surnamed Yu Hong Kong was sentenced to probation orders for two criminal cases earlier. He was required to appear in court on January 10 and February 7 this year respectively. Wanted in court.
The police arrested the man wanted by the court the day before yesterday (March 20). The case was originally brought to Kowloon City Magistrates' Court yesterday (March 21). The soldier fled.
The police immediately launched a search and chase.
The case was classified as "escape from lawful custody" and was handed over to the Kowloon City District Crime Squad for follow-up.
It is reported that at 10:45 last night, the police arrested the 22-year-old man outside a building in Hongli Garden, Tuen Mun, at the residence of the arrested person.
