Feijóo raises the tone against the Government, which he describes as "despot" and "autistic"

The economic situation and the change in Spain's position with respect to the Sahara have motivated Alberto Núñez Feijóo to raise his tone against the Government of Pedro Sánchez, to which he began by reaching out to reach State agreements.

The president of Galicia and the only candidate to preside over the PP, for whom the party bases are voting this Monday as the new leader, has hardened his position and has described in very harsh terms the government's actions in recent days.

He sees him as the victim of a "general collapse" and acting in a "despotic" and "autistic" way in the face of problems in the countryside and international politics.

Feijóo believes that the Executive does not stop making mistakes and censorship that "has broken the bridges" with the countryside and with the opposition, due to its reaction to the demonstration of farmers and ranchers that toured the streets of Madrid this Sunday and because it has not reported to the PP of the change of position with respect to Western Sahara.

“I have never seen such an autistic government in the face of a conflict as widespread as this one,” the Galician president has complained.

The PP regrets having learned of the turn in the international conflict through the Government of Morocco.

Feijóo also criticizes that with the change of position of the Spanish Executive "the consensus in foreign policy that Spain had built in the last 40 years has been broken".

“The president has not even informed the government of him.

He is governing in a despotic and irresponsible way ”, the president of the Xunta has censored.

The next leader of the PP considers that the change in the position on Western Sahara "breaks an international consensus that had been built by the UCD, the socialist governments of Felipe González and the popular governments of Aznar and Rajoy", and that "no one is legitimated to do it".

Feijóo had already criticized this turn of the Executive, especially for the form.

In recent days he has described it as a "unilateral" and "reckless" decision, because it lacks support inside and outside La Moncloa.

The PP moves above all in the criticism of the modes, and less of the substance, in this unilateral and unannounced review by Pedro Sánchez of the position that Spain has maintained for almost half a century on the former colony.

The Galician baron has hardened his criticism of the president on the day that the PP militants are voting for him in the popular primaries.

A total of 41,681 members who had previously registered are called this Monday to vote for Feijóo as the sole candidate to preside over the PP, after the fall of Pablo Casado as leader due to his internal war with Isabel Díaz Ayuso.

The still president of the popular vote has discreetly voted this morning at the ballot box located in Génova, 13, avoiding entering through the main door of the headquarters so as not to meet the media and thus not make statements.

The vote is secret and the images distributed by the PP do not show what Casado's ballot says, but he had already shown his support and "loyalty" to Feijóo in his public speech at the last meeting of the Board of Directors National.
