The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that the Russian Air Force targeted 86 Ukrainian military facilities during the Russian special military operation in Ukraine to protect Donbass.
And the Russia Today website quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: “Six command centers, two rocket launchers, 8 field guns, 3 ammunition depots and 49 areas for gathering weapons and military equipment for the Ukrainian forces were hit.”
The statement added that the Russian air defense forces shot down 9 Ukrainian drones near the cities of Izyum, Kiev, Sumy, Kharkov and Chernigov.
The statement indicated that the Russian units advanced for a distance of two kilometers on the southern and southeastern outskirts of the town of Novomykhailovka, southwest of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine.
The statement stressed that since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, 255 drones, 189 air defense systems, 1,564 tanks and armored vehicles, 158 missile launchers, 627 artillery, including mortars, and 1,367 pieces of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
