"Entertainment that's fun and doesn't hurt anyone": Barbara Schöneberger hands out against Désirée Nick

Barbara Schöneberger will moderate “Do you understand fun?” from April.
Beforehand, she talked about what to expect.
And makes it clear: "Nothing Désirée-Nick-like".
Berlin – Barbara Schöneberger will moderate the show “Do you understand fun?” from April 2, 2022, following Guido Cantz, who became the face of the show after twelve years and 60 episodes.
Schöneberger is known for her humorous and quick-witted manner.
"A childhood dream comes true," she said in advance in the ARD interview.
Now she's talking about what she's up to.

Especially in these times, it's not easy to get started with a comedy show.
In an interview with the magazine Super Illu, Schöneberger explained: This is exactly why you should treat yourself to such "islands".
"We mustn't let ourselves be chased into the boxing horn and ban laughter," said Schöneberger.

For the show, Barbara Schöneberger was particularly important that it remains a family show.
"I don't have many visions and don't really get involved, but here I pushed for the show character," she explains in an interview.
And further: "I'm just looking forward to three hours of warm and joyful entertainment that's fun and doesn't hurt anyone, that unites generations and humor."

By this, the presenter also means a “human quality in entertainment” that must not be lost.
“Especially where it feels like all inhibitions have fallen.” When asked, there is also a side swipe at Désirée Nick.
"Don't worry: 'Do you get fun?'
is a family show, nothing Désirée-Nick-like will happen there,” the 48-year-old clarifies.
Schöneberger finds words of praise for the designer Guido Maria Kretschmer in "Shopping Queen" - he has "a very benevolent way" to criticize people.
"I think it's legitimate to gossip about people when they're the ones who are particularly outspoken - and thereby offer to be judged.
Then an Olli Pocher will automatically come around the corner and fool you," says Schöneberger, also in relation to colleague Oliver Pocher.
In another interview, Barbara Schöneberger recently explained that she is not always satisfied with her appearance.
She joked about striving for perfection and revealed that she dreams of dress size 36.
