The group of Russian Pacific Fleet anti-submarine ships conducted maneuvers on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Russian Far East on the border with Japan.
The press office of the Eastern Military District of Russia said in a statement that the anti-sabotage divers were trained to detect sabotage submarine groups and inspected the hulls of ships and the naval dock in search of mines and explosive devices planted by the supposed enemy.
Earlier, the BulletExpert website reported that Russian ships fired at the supposed enemy in the Black Sea, whose waters and airspace had been closed by the Russian army as part of the Russian operation to protect the residents of Donbass.
