The Russian communications watchdog Roscom Nadzor has demanded that the YouTube administration lift the ban on videos published by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"The YouTube administration has imposed restrictions on the video of the meeting of the Interdepartmental Coordination Headquarters for Humanitarian Response in Ukraine on the official account of the Russian Defense Ministry," Roscom Nadzor said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel, asking the YouTube administration to explain the reasons for imposing the restrictions.
A few days ago, YouTube lifted the ban on the Soviet TV and Radio channels of the Goss Teleradio Fund, the Russian State Fund for Television and Radio Programs, after it was blocked on March 13, without providing any explanation for his move.
Recently, especially after the launch of the special military operation of the Russian army to protect the residents of Donbass, YouTube blocked about 50 Russian online resources, including those belonging to major media outlets.
