The person who eliminated the terrorists in the attack in Hadera this evening (Sunday) is Corporal Y., deputy commander of the Judea and Samaria Police. Corporal Y. was sitting in a nearby restaurant at the time of the attack.
When the incident began, he and two undercover men who dined with him went outside, confronted the terrorists and neutralized them.
This prevented other victims, apart from the two murdered.
The CBS has been operating since 1991 within the framework of the Border Police, in cooperation with the GSS and the IDF.
All the servicemen in the units are police officers on a permanent or regular basis, and the unit in Judea and Samaria is subordinate to the IDF, but like the IDF, they provide operational assistance to the GSS.
These units also assist the "Blue Police" in special or complicated arrests, even within the Green Line.
