As part of the efforts to bring Ukrainian Jews to Israel, about 50 people arrived in Israel yesterday, some of them immigrants who fled to Poland.
Their arrival in Israel is part of an initiative of Dr. Miriam Adelson, who took care of bringing the immigrants on her private plane to Israel so that they could start a new life here.
The excited Jews thanked for the opportunity given to them from the war zone to the country.
Some landed in the country after dealing with difficult experiences during the first days of fighting in Ukraine.
"We are grateful that they saved us from the difficult place we were in," said one of the immigrants in a conversation with Israel Today.
"It excites us to reach the Jewish state. We feel at home and know we will have a good mouth here."
Another immigrant said they "pray that the war in Ukraine will end and that there will be no more casualties, and are grateful that we were lucky enough to reach a country that accepts us with such great love."
The Ukrainians who arrived in Israel were received upon landing in Israel with sweets, Israeli flags and a warm attitude.
They were transferred to the care of the Ministry of Absorption, and from there proceeded to hotels in various areas across the country.
In the near future, the process of absorbing those immigrants will continue, adding to those who have managed to immigrate to Israel in recent weeks.
Quite a few more immigrants who fled Ukraine are expected to join them soon.

This proves that the fate of the Jewish people is intertwined, and only with mutual guarantee will we be able to carry out the national mission in the rescue of the Jews of Ukraine. "
