The head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, directed the documentation of all crimes of torture of prisoners of war by the neo-Nazis in Ukraine.
The Russian RIA Novosti news agency quoted the committee as saying in a statement today that Bastrykin demanded documenting the identity of all those involved in torturing prisoners to bring them to justice.
Scenes spread on the Internet showing the torture of the prisoners by the Ukrainian Nazis in one of their bases in the city of Kharkov, despite their injuries and without providing them with any medical assistance.
In a related context, the police of the Donetsk People's Republic announced that seven soldiers of the Ukrainian 54th Brigade handed over their weapons and joined the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic.
"Seven soldiers of the 54th Brigade voluntarily laid down their arms and joined the forces of the Donetsk People's Republic," the police said in its statement.
It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the Russian military operation to protect the population of Donbass, 405 Ukrainian servicemen voluntarily joined the ranks of the Donetsk forces.
