The fighting in Ukraine has created an acute shortage of working hands that the country is having a hard time filling • Estimated: Prime Minister Bennett will try to advance the move on his upcoming visit to India

Construction workers from Morocco, Nepal and India - these are the new destinations being examined by the Population and Immigration Authority following a shortage of workers created due to the war in Ukraine, the real estate system has learned today.

It also appears that Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked are expected to discuss the issue with the Indian Prime Minister during their forthcoming visit to India and discuss the bringing of tens of thousands of construction workers from India to Israel.

The shortage of construction workers has even intensified in recent times following the halting of the workers' shovel from China, due to problems in the bilateral agreements between the countries.

The Population and Immigration Authority said that "the issue is being considered."
