Five minors are now accused of group sexual violence against a 14-year-old girl: three, two 15-year-olds and one 16-year-old have been placed in the community and two others are not responsible because they are under 14 years old.
The investigations into the violence, which took place on the evening of last December 22, were carried out by the Carabinieri of the Rome Eur Station, delegated by the Public Prosecutor's Office at the Rome Juvenile Court.
In the complaint, the girl said that on the evening of December 22, 2021, while she was waiting for friends in the street, the 5 boys, unknown to her, after having surrounded her, prevented her from leaving, forcibly restrained her and dragged her into the street. a dimly lit area where the abuse allegedly took place.
The violence ended only because the victim's screams attracted the attention of two boys who intervened.
The two rescuers were also attacked.
Then the arrival of a Carabinieri patrol from the Roma Eur station that put the five to flight.
The suspects were reached through testimonies, the analysis of social network profiles and finally through photographic recognition.
The minors under investigation are all residents of Rome.
