A Florida judge on Wednesday approved an $83 million settlement in connection with the collapse of the Champlain Towers South residential building in Surfside.
The amount goes to the former owners of the condominiums and the heirs of the people who died last year.
Recall that the building partially collapsed on the night of June 24 last year and 98 people died.
