Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, the geographical positions of Russian oil tankers have started to disappear.
The geographical position is detected thanks to the automatic identification system of ships (AIS for its acronym in English) but lately the captains of these ships that transport crude oil disconnect the transponders that reveal their position to AIS.
