The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, said he had a friendly and necessary meeting with John Kerry, the United States' special envoy for the climate, to discuss some points of the energy reform.
While Kerry told local Mexican media that a group would be set up to monitor the process, the Mexican president denied the existence of a surveillance team, although he said there is dialogue.
