Defense Minister Bnei Gantz in a message to the Palestinian population: "Terrorism threatens the ability to promote measures that will improve the quality of life and the economy - examining what steps we can take towards Ramadan depending on the security situation"

Against the background of the wave of terror that has claimed the lives of 11 people in the past two weeks, Defense Minister Bnei Gantz this evening (Saturday) addressed the Palestinian population in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip on the occasion of the beginning of the month of Ramadan, which began today.

He said terrorism threatens the ability to advance moves to improve the quality of life and economy in the territories.

On the Facebook page of the Coordinator of Government Operations in the Occupied Territories, Maj. Gen. Rassan Aliyan ("Almonsk"), Minister Ganz said that the State of Israel will not accept terrorist attacks in its territory and that the defense establishment is currently examining what steps can be taken for the Palestinian population during Ramadan. .

"At the beginning of the month of Ramadan, I would like to wish Ramadan Kerim all the Palestinians in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip," Ganz said.

"We are currently considering what steps we can take towards Ramadan - to allow you to celebrate the holiday in the best possible way, while first and foremost maintaining security.

"Recently, in coordination with the Palestinian Authority, we have been promoting a series of moves aimed at improving the quality of life and the economy in Judea and Samaria and the Gaza Strip - moves that terrorism threatens to advance, and that we can continue to work only if peace and security stabilize.

We want that, I'm sure most Palestinians are interested in that too.

'In this spirit, I wish all of us that the coming holiday will be a holiday of peace, contentment with families and health.

All Am and not in Khir. '
