It is a long time ago when presidential candidates clashed over the figures of juvenile delinquency!
The explosion of violence and the rejuvenation of its perpetrators - two intimately linked movements - are no longer seriously contested.
And for good reason: day after day, the chronicle of miscellaneous events reveals the unimaginable: schoolgirls massacring a family with scissors, murders between young adolescents, rapes perpetrated at the end of childhood, gang battles with iron bars... dramas of such savagery that it remains inconceivable to the consciousness of ordinary mortals.
We can only bitterly regret the missed opportunity that was the campaign, and the weakness of the projects of the candidates on the question of education.
