The Russian Defense Ministry announced today that the Russian Air Force targeted 54 Ukrainian military installations with high-precision missiles and destroyed a large store of missiles, ammunition and artillery in Odessa, southern Ukraine.
Russia Today website quoted a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, as saying in a press statement, “The Russian forces destroyed today a control point, fuel depots, a field ammunition depot, two facilities for multiple launch systems and 45 points of support and concentration for Ukrainian military equipment,” adding that Russian air defenses downed a Ukrainian plane. Su-27 near the village of Novomykhailovka.
Konashenkov noted that since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, 126 aircraft, 421 drones, 2,024 tanks and other armored fighting vehicles, 225 multiple rocket launchers, 876 pieces of field artillery and mortars, in addition to 1,923 units of special military vehicles, have been destroyed.
