Yesterday (Friday), the police arrested suspects who fired fireworks during a trip at the Neve Ya'akov junction in Jerusalem.

Ten suspects who threw objects at police in the Nablus Gate area were also arrested.

At an incident in Neve Ya'akov, two suspects from Beit Hanina fired fireworks from their vehicles.

The said police arrested them and they were taken for questioning.

During the riots at the Nablus Gate, suspects who were identified with the help of observations of the Jerusalem district were arrested.

Six of the ten arrested are suspects who threw stones and objects at police forces in the Sultan Suleiman area.

In one case, a suspect was arrested who fired fireworks at passing vehicles and at a police vehicle, and in another case a suspect was arrested who attacked police officers.

All the suspects were taken for questioning and their detention was extended by the court.

At the end of the police investigation, an evidentiary basis was formed against them and prosecutor statements were filed against them by the State Attorney's Office.
