The Israeli start-up company Pentaxi is expected to reveal to the public for the first time an urban autonomous aircraft for transporting passengers and cargo.
The vehicle that will be displayed at the upcoming automotive exhibition takes off and lands vertically and according to the company will present a breakthrough in the range and time of flight (about 320 km), flight weight (400 kg), flight safety, efficiency, passenger comfort and noise reduction.

Pentaxi's flying taxi has the ability to change the angle of the engines - which allows it to carry a relatively large cargo (400 kg or 4 passengers) for a very long distance, even relative to other models developed in the world.
For example, the company states that flying a glider is wasteful in energy consumption 10 times more than flying with a straight and horizontal wing.
The density of transportation in the world's major metropolises, the transport restrictions in city centers that are becoming more and more effective on the one hand and the growing demand for people and cargo on the other hand increase the growing need for accessible, collaborative, safe and fast transportation. They are the ones accelerating the air transport channel.
Such solutions may be the solution, but there is still a long way to go.
