Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova condemned Swiss statements that held the Russian side fully responsible for the facts of the situation in Ukraine, ignoring Russian explanations about the barbaric crimes of the Kyiv regime in Bucha and Kramatorsk.
Russia Today quoted Zakharova as saying: "We firmly condemn such assessments by the Swiss side and call upon Bern, which is trying to present itself as a neutral and honest broker, to deal with the facts objectively and accurately," noting that her country will judge the extent of Switzerland's commitment to the neutral situation based on its practical steps. .
Earlier today, Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, Dmitry Polyansky, announced that his country does not trust any independent investigations conducted by the West and Ukraine regarding the events in Bucha, noting that the issue of forming an international group within the framework of the United Nations to investigate these events has not been considered.
