Hartz and cordial: Cindy has a career aspiration – and dares to take the next step

"Hartz and warm": The mother of two, Cindy, would like to go to school again and needs help from her mother Sandra.

This is the next step in her life:

The TV station RTLZWEI's reality documentary "Hartz und Herzen"* accompanies the residents of Blockmacherring in Rockstock Groß Klein in their everyday life - which in many cases is characterized by financial worries and official stress.

In the 33rd episode "Hartz and warm - day by day Rostock" Cindy visits her mother and tells her good news.

The young woman from Rostock has made a plan for her professional future.

The 20-year-old is Sandra's eldest daughter and a mother of two herself.

Cindy would like to catch up on her high school diploma at the adult education center - for this she needs her old certificates, which her mother Sandra kept for her: "I'm with my mom today because we want to send the things over to my school today," reveals the 20-year-old in the TV show.

In order for the VHS to be able to classify Cindy, she needs a copy of her secondary school certificate.

The necessary documents are quickly found, but one of the important documents has become completely crumpled over the years.

This worries Cindy a lot: can she send it in this condition?

In order to straighten the certificate, the young mother comes up with a clever but risky idea: she wants to iron it.

However, too much heat could damage the document.

Mother Sandra doubts that Cindy will be able to get her school registration certificate back in shape.

Cindy is determined to send her application to the adult education center, and even the crumpled certificate can't change that.

Despite small differences of opinion, Sandra supports her eldest daughter's plans for the future: "I think it's good that she's going to school again - if I had had the opportunity to do something after my graduation, I would have done it too", reveals the mother of five at "Hartz and cordially - day after day Rostock".

Sandra wishes that Jasmine would follow her older sister's example and also work towards a school-leaving certificate.

But the 16-year-old has other plans: Jasmin would like to go straight into work and not go to school anymore.

Cindy's sister has an apprenticeship or a job in mind.

Cindy is making further plans for the future: after graduating, the 20-year-old would like to start an apprenticeship as a zookeeper.

But first, the young mother plans to bring her children back to her home – because things are going haywire for her at the moment.

Cindy had to give away her two daughters on the advice of the youth welfare office*.

Since then, her daughter Melodie has lived with her grandmother and the youngest child had to be accommodated in a shared apartment run by the youth welfare office.

But the young mother is doing everything in her power to have her children with her again soon.
