Scientists conducted an experiment with chimpanzees in which they were exposed to the skulls of different species, including their own, and discovered that they do pay more attention when it comes to the bone remains of their peers.
Although chimpanzees are known to pay special attention to the teeth of the skulls of their species, it is unknown if they find a relationship with death.
