The numbers are falling, but Corona is not over, warns Klaus Holetschek.
Bavaria's Ministry of Health therefore has recommendations for Easter.
Munich - The Easter weekend has begun, many families meet over the holidays.
But: “Even if the number of infections is fortunately falling, the pandemic is by no means over.
Unfortunately, the corona virus does not spare us over Easter either,” warns Bavaria’s Health Minister Klaus Holetschek (CSU).

“Since the federal government has only given us a basic protection framework, we can no longer legally order many sensible measures, such as wearing masks indoors.
We therefore rely on people's common sense and sense of responsibility," explains the politician.
And further: “It is clear that we all want to spend time with the family over the holidays – and as carefree as possible.
That's why I recommend testing yourself regularly in the form of self-tests or using one of the numerous test offers for quick tests."
Corona in Bavaria: Test centers also open over Easter

The ministry also recommends “continuing to wear the mask indoors and to keep your distance.” FFP2 masks in particular would offer good protection against corona.

Easter in Corona times: Bavaria recommends distance and airing - and celebrate outside if possible
With a view to private family celebrations at Easter, the Ministry of Health advises “complying with the general rules of distance and hygiene and ensuring regular ventilation.” If possible, they should take place in small groups and outside.
