Weather expert with Easter forecast for Bavaria - This is how it will be over the holidays

This week the weather in Bavaria is spring-like.
But what about Easter?
An expert gave his forecast for the holidays to Merkur.de.
Munich – After snow, wind and storms in the last few days, the sun is shining in the Munich sky on Tuesday.
Will it remain so nice over the Easter weekend or will April do what it wants again?

Bavarian weather at Easter: sun and cloud mix on Good Friday
Sun and clouds alternate on Good Friday, the temperatures reach around 13 degrees in the Hofer Land, but on the lower Danube in Lower Bavaria the temperature can climb up to 20 degrees, as meteorologist Guido Wolz explained in an interview with

Individual showers and thunderstorms are possible in large parts of Bavaria - with the exception of Lower Franconia.
On Saturday, a “calm weather situation” sets in.
High pressure prevails in Bavaria, although the Free State lies in a northerly current.
That means the temperatures will go down a bit.
According to the DWD meteorologist, around 13 degrees are possible.
It is therefore coldest in the north-east, in the rest of Bavaria there are up to 17 degrees.

Weather in Bavaria on Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday
A mix of sun and clouds with a gusty northeast wind will also set in on Easter Saturday.
It stays dry.
There is a slight tendency towards local short showers in the Alps.
According to Wolz, the chances are "relatively small".
On Easter Sunday there is no major change in weather.
The high-pressure weather will remain, as will the mix of sun and clouds and temperatures between 12 and 17 degrees.
Wolz speaks of a "cool Easter".
Little change then on Easter Monday.
It stays at 12 to 18 degrees, a mix of sun and clouds and a gusty northeast wind.

Meteorologist Dominik Jung also explains when asked that it looks nice on Easter Monday, "but a few hours ago it looked like a low from Eastern Europe, with sleet and rain showers....so it is still to be taken with caution what Monday could bring !"
Easter 2022 in Bavaria: "Calm weather" - Lower temperatures due to cold front
The conclusion: All in all, Bavaria is facing “calm weather” at Easter.
There is currently high pressure, warm air is coming from the south - that will change on Maundy Thursday.
Then a cold front takes over, which explains the drop in temperature over the Easter days.
In 2021 the weather was similar at Easter, but in 2020 it was summery.
20 to 25 degrees were measured back then, but the chances of that this year are probably zero.
