Iraqi forces arrested eight terrorists in Anbar and Nineveh provinces, west and north of the country.

And Alsumaria News website quoted the Security Media Cell as saying in a statement: “It was in separate qualitative and preemptive operations that were carried out in the operations sectors based on information from military intelligence and in cooperation with joint forces from the Land Forces Command, which resulted in the arrest of eight terrorists equally between the provinces of Nineveh and Anbar.” .

The statement indicated that the Iraqi forces were able to seize a launch pad with a Grad missile northwest of Nineveh, as well as 55 mortar shells of various calibers, 50 caliber 14.5 mm, 29 different projectiles, 14 explosive devices, 7 detonators, and 5 different rockets, which are remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS. .

The Iraqi police had earlier arrested a leader of the terrorist organization ISIS in Nineveh Governorate, in the north of the country.
