The Brazilian Ministry of Health recorded 65 deaths and 8,470 new infections with the Corona virus in the past 24 hours.
The ministry said in a statement that the total number of deaths in the country has so far reached 662,076, while the total number of infections has reached 302,61088.
Brazil still ranks second after the United States in terms of the number of deaths globally and third in terms of the number of injuries after the United States and India.
