The Russian ambassador to Britain, Andrei Kelin, revealed that London does not care about the fate of the British soldiers captured in the Donbass, southeast of Ukraine.
"The British authorities have not submitted a request to the Russian diplomatic mission to exchange the British prisoners with the Ukrainian politician Viktor Medvedchuk," Kalin said, adding, "It seems that the fate of the British military does not concern them much."
Today, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova blamed London for abandoning its nationals who became victims of British propaganda and went to Ukraine to kill people, not caring at all about the fate of the British who found themselves in distress.
Russian forces recently captured two British nationals in Mariupol while they were participating in hostilities as mercenaries on the side of the Ukrainian armed forces.
