The Russian Defense Ministry announced that the army directed attacks with high-precision missiles at 14 positions of the Ukrainian forces in the Cherkasko and Alexandrovaka regions and neutralized 120 extremists.

"As a result of the strikes that took place in the Bobasnia region, a command center, two ammunition depots, two stores of weapons and ammunition were hit, as well as areas of concentration of Ukrainian manpower and military equipment, and two strongholds of extremist nationalists," Russia Today website quoted the Ministry's spokesman, Major General Igor Konashenkov, as saying in a press briefing this evening. In addition, ammunition depots were destroyed in the settlements of Shnorki and Slavyansk, and more than 30 cars and armored vehicles were destroyed.

"Russian planes destroyed 64 Ukrainian military facilities in one day, including 17 sites for the concentration of Ukrainian military equipment," he added, noting that the tactical operations planes of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit targets in the Krasny Lyman and Drubishev regions, as well as two missile and artillery depots near the city of Zaporozhye.

Konashenkov said that since the beginning of the special military operation, 140 Ukrainian fighters, 106 helicopters, 512 marches, 254 air defense systems and 2,422 tanks have been destroyed.
