The federal prosecutor for the southern district of New York, Damian Williams, announced this Thursday the charges that the former president of Honduras Juan Orlando Hernández will face once he arrives in the United States, after his extradition from Honduran territory.
The former president has pleaded not guilty to all charges on several occasions.
Hernández insists that he is not a drug trafficker, and assures that during his eight years in office he helped fight this crime together with US agencies.
