Honoring 560 families of martyrs and workers in the Qalamoun region

On the occasion of the April feasts and the approaching of the Labor and Fitr holidays, 360 families of the martyrs’ families and 200 male and female workers from the Qalamoun area in Damascus countryside were honored as part of a celebration held today at Al-Murjan Rest House in the city of Al-Nabk.

In statements to SANA’s reporter, a number of those honored expressed their happiness with this annual honor, which is held by the economic and civil activities in Al-Nabek, in honor and respect for the martyrs who sacrificed their blood so that the homeland remains free and dear. Al-Haffar indicated that this honor gives impetus and incentive to further work.

Parliament member Ali Rishq indicated that this honor came as an expression of thanks and gratitude to the families and families of the martyrs who sacrificed their souls to keep Syria free and independent, indicating at the same time that this charitable work is part of the responsibility towards society and it continues to reach the largest number of families and implement works and projects Development with the aim of enabling the families of martyrs and the needy to improve their income

empowering them economically.

In statements to reporters after the honoring, the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Muhammad Seif El-Din, stressed that participating in honoring the families of the martyrs is an opportunity to meet with them and identify their needs to provide them and provide them with more support.

For his part, the Governor of Damascus Countryside, Engineer Moataz Abu Al-Nasr Jamran, confirmed that the blood of the martyrs will remain a beacon for the future generations that will carry out the construction process, stressing that the governorate is working in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the rest of the concerned authorities to support and care for the families of the martyrs and provide what they need.

In addition to the honoring, the Minister of Social Affairs and the Governor visited the Khatoun Heritage Society in Deir Atiyah and was briefed on the charitable works it implements and the development projects that attract many women who became products after undergoing training and rehabilitation.

The head of the Khatoun Heritage Society, Asma Abboud, indicated in a statement to SANA that the association provides daily about 80 iftar meals that are distributed in the Nabek area and some towns of Ghouta. Supported by the Syrian Trust for Development.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Charitable Society in Al-Nabek, Eng. Bashir Talib, indicated that the association is implementing more than one project, including distributing sums of money to 400 families, in addition to an initiative for a fasting iftar targeting 500 families per day, in addition to providing food baskets to a number of families. It is also preparing to distribute clothes to the children registered with it. On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
