Russia has extended restrictions on flights at the southern and central airports of the country until May 1.
“Temporary restrictions imposed on flights at 11 Russian airports have been extended until May 1, in the cities of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelengzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-Don, Simferopol and Elista,” TASS news agency quoted the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency as saying in a statement today.
The statement recommended Russian airlines to transport passengers using alternative routes through the airports of Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow, noting that the rest of Russia's airports, including international airports, are operating as usual.
