It has become one of the moments particularly awaited by the assessors of polling station No. 2 located in the school of La Garenne, in Verneuil-sur-Seine (Yvelines).
Since 2017, a mysterious voter from the town of 15,000 inhabitants has been pleased to slip a vote on behalf of a personality far removed from political life.
It is indeed Mylène Farmer, the French singer who has sold the most records (30 million).
The "Libertine" singer seems to have a fan in town who suggests he or she could have been born in the 1980s, the period of revelation of the one who became an international star.
As with every ballot, a ballot in the name of @mylenefarmer found in the ballot box at office number 2 (La Garenne school) at @VilledeVerneuil!

During the counting of this second round of the presidential election, the assessors opened an envelope containing a drawing bearing the name of the singer.
A discovery shared on the city's social networks with the following message: "Will the interpreter of
Without Counterfeiting
end up answering this call with her foot and getting into politics #Elysée2022", tweeted the municipality led by Fabien Aufrechter (LREM).
"If this can serve as a call for her to come and sing in Verneuil, I'm in..."
“This was already the case during the last departmental, municipal, European elections and even during the presidential election of 2017, specifies the young mayor of the majority of Emmanuel Macron.
We are trying to find out who is behind this bulletin, in vain for the moment.
But if this can be used as a call for her to come and sing in Verneuil, I'm in..."

From an electoral point of view, this vote, as original as it is, is ultimately considered a null vote.
It is not counted in the same way as the white vote (blank sheet), itself deducted from invalid ballots since 2014.
