One rocket was launched last night (Monday) from Lebanon towards Israel near midnight and exploded in an open area in the Western Galilee region.
The IDF and the defense establishment confirm that no warning was activated because the shooting did not threaten a populated area.
The IDF spokesman wanted to emphasize that at this stage the routine continues in the home front. No casualties or damage were reported in the incident. According to some reports, the rocket fell not far from Shlomi.
The Hezbollah-affiliated Lebanese newspaper al-Akhbar reported that a rocket had been launched into Israeli territory.
It is estimated that those behind the shooting are local Palestinian organizations that have sought to express sympathy with the struggle that has developed in recent days in the Judea and Samaria sector.
