On the occasion of International Quds Day, the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lattakia, in cooperation with the Arab Writers Union, held the Jerusalem Poetry Forum.

Ali Reza Fadavi, the Iranian cultural attaché, spoke about the importance of celebrating the International Quds Day to preserve the Palestinian cause from the danger of being forgotten by making Jerusalem the compass of free people and militants around the world and for the cause of Palestine to remain alive and present until it is liberated from the clutches of the Zionist entity.

In turn, Khaled Haidar, director of the Iranian Cultural Center, indicated that Jerusalem will be liberated from occupation, pointing out that this city has spiritual connotations in addition to being the capital of Palestine.

The poet Zaher al-Qat’s poem entitled “Handala free-handed” came in the form of a prophecy that Quds Day is the day of the victory of truth over falsehood, which does not last no matter how overwhelming and forceful it is.

Malik Al-Rifai recited a poetic poem entitled “Jerusalem Garage,” in which he referred to the importance of Jerusalem as the capital of revelation and cultural identity and the capital of the prophets.

In turn, the poet Marwan Jalouli recited a poem entitled "Palestine, O Mother of Al-Jarrah", in which he spoke about the importance of Jerusalem and its cultural, Islamic and historical value.
